I did the Rockwall Trail on Sunday. The weather wasn't what most people would call fantastic (ankle deep mud, graupel, rain, wind, cold) but I'd still call it one of my favourite days in the mountains that didn't involve skis. Skis trump everything.

Anyway, had a little snow/graupel up high, but the trail is still totally navigable and spends enough time down low that my guess is it'll go for a little while yet before it gets too choked with snow.

Longer write-up here. Doesn't include any technical details, just my impressions. If anyone is looking for more concrete beta, I'm happy to provide, but it's a well known trail so there's already a ton out there.

GPS track here.
