Attempted White Pyramid on Sunday, April 2.

Weak overnight freeze didn't affect us much as there is a pretty good trail already punched through the facets. The river was still frozen and is currently very easy to cross. Travel was fast, but a strong wind produced a reactive slab with the new snow near the col. Most of the instability was surface slab at 5-15 cm, but there were deeper pockets with one shooting cracking originating from a deeper layer guessed at 30 cm. We turned around in the col and enjoyed stiff snow in a white out. No crevasses were observed on the glacier, but the light was flat.

Enjoyable day out, but will attempt again when the weather is a bit more friendly.
